Friday's Fly: Tenkara Caddis Mayfly Variant

Some Tenkara flies are so elegant that I can't help but tie them. I'm not into the Tenkara craze (yet), but I enjoy tying Tenkara-style flies. The fly pictured above is said to have originated somewhere in Northern Japan. I haven't fished this yet, but it sure is a classy looking fly!

Hook: Light Wire Scud
Tail: Two Pheasant Tail Fibers
Body: Pheasant Tail
Hackle: Brown
Antennae: Two Pheasant Tail Fibers
